Hi, I'm Nicola, Founder of Halo Toothpaste.

I'm British-born Vietnamese and was raised in East London. After spending over a decade building my career in luxury retail, I found myself living in a constant cycle of rushing, chasing success and putting myself last.

As I began slowing down and becoming more intentional with my everyday routines, I realised something that completely changed the direction of Halo.

I had transformed almost every part of my self-care routine into something I genuinely enjoyed. I took time with my morning coffee, my skincare and walking my dog.

Yet brushing my teeth was still the one thing I rushed through every single day.

I remember looking at my bathroom shelf thinking:

"Why is brushing my teeth the one part of my self-care routine that still feels rushed?"

That question became the beginning of Halo.

I wanted to create an oral care brand that felt as beautiful and intentional as the rest of my beauty routine. A product that looked elegant on my bathroom shelf, travelled effortlessly with me and transformed brushing my teeth into a ritual rather than another task.

Halo was born from the belief that slowing down, even for two minutes, can change the way we care for ourselves.
